Search Giant Google, Inc. has announced that it's Gmail service celebrating its first year today (not a joke) will now offer 2GB of email storage. This announcement comes hot on the heels of Internet Giant Yahoo announcing plans to match Google's 1GB email box. Yahoo's announcement took some shine off Gmail. Not to be outdone Google has raised the bar yet again leaving Yahoo in the dust. With that said, I still need to work out how I will use 2GB of storage. I plan to store my special picture collection, the Paris video line - that should take about 100MB, just 1.9 GB more to go.
"Our goal is to make sure storage is no longer an issue for Web mail users," said Marissa Mayer, Google's director of consumer Web products.
