Star is reporting that during one recent fight, Nick Lachey told Jessica Simpson that he hates her whining. In response, she blubbered "You hate me?" This presents the philosophical question of how you separate the whiner from the whine. You could actually love the whiner but hate the whining, and yet if the whiner whines 24/7, how can you not finish by hating her, or at the very least, wanting to get the hell out of the house?
