Beatles History On The Block
One of the precipitating factors behind the divorce of the Beatles was Paul McCatney's desire to have his father-in-law continue as their manager, in competition with the desire of the other Beatles to have Allen Klein, manager of the Rolling Stones, take over the job. This coming Thursday at Christie's in London, interested parties will be able to bid on a letter from John, George and Ringo telling Paul's father-in-law that his services were no longer needed. Also available in the auction will be a presecution notice served on the Rolling Stones for lewd behavior while using public transportation. The Bosh regrets not being able to make the video of that event available for your viewing pleasure. (By Scott Rose) |
