The International Center of Photography in Manhattan is mounting an exhibit of the works of Larry Clark. Clark came to prominence with his book "Tulsa" in 1971 which documents drug addiction; the current show includes a picture of a pregnant woman shooting up. In 1983 came Clark's book "Teenage Lust," which contains a picture titled "Brother and Sister" which shows a naked boy with a boner pointing a gun at a naked girl tied up with rope. While Clark's stark, intimate pictures and movies of teenagers having sex, waving guns and shooting drugs have made an impact for the artistic quality of the work, some persons find them pornographic. One look at a Larry Clark photograph and you know it was not done by staff photographers at Juggs magazine; even if it did have explicit pornographic qualities, The Bosh would encourage its readers to see the beauty in the pornography. Congress and the Bush administration have been moving aggressively to fight pornography, because according to Bush, you should enjoy liberty, but only those liberties he's willing to give you.
