Mireille Guiliano, the 58-year-old CEO and President of Clicquot, Inc. is also the author of a book calle 'French Women Don't Get Fat.' She claims the reason Les Femmes Francaises do not get fat is that they eat with their heads and all five senses and they have learned to manage and gratify their appetites. That strictness takes a toll; Mireille also says of French women "We are all supposed to be stylish and elegant, and I know plenty of French women who are neither, and for those that do try to live up to the myth, it isn't easy." Don't you think that some charitable organization should mount an air-lift of Hermes scarves, low-calorie box meals and coupons for spa treatments for the poor stressed-out ladies of Paris?
