50 Cent and the Game before their fight |

It's safe for rappers to walk the streets again. 50 Cent and the Game have called a truce after a week of fighting. The pair of MCs used to be colleagues in the group, G-Unit, but their feud began when 50 announced that he had kicked the Game out of G-Unit for being disloyal. The announcement occurred at New York radio station where 50 was doing a promotional appearance. During the appearance, a member of the Game's entourage was shot when an altercation between the two groups began. The hip hop community feared that the brawl may have ended in a situation much like the Biggie and Tupac murders in 1996 and 1997, provoking Reverend Al Sharpton to propose that a ban be put on artists involved in violent acts. Fortunately, the duo have decided to make amends via a joint donation to the Harlem Boys Choir and the Compton United School District Music Program. While the Game gave $100k, 50 gave $150k. Sounds like they're still in competition to me. "Game and I need to set an example in the community," said 50 Cent. And what an example it is.
