How many times have you heard the term "bird brain" and known that it was not used in reference to Einstein or Beethoven? Well, Tweetybird, the bluebird of happiness and that parrot on the top of Mary Poppins' umbrella will all be thrilled to hear that today's New York Times carries a long article on how scientists have discovered that many birds have more complex brains than was previously believed and that many are as intelligent as chimpanzees. Unfortunately, the study seems not to have extended to the Hillary bird. Hillary Clinton, who was elected as senator on a liberal platform, has been making gross overtures to the right wing, such as saying that people need to have more tolerance of those who are against gay marriage because of their religious beliefs. Sure, sure, I need to be tolerant of religious loons who deny gays their rights. Hey Hillary, suppose I were one of a majority with the irrational opinion that Catholic heterosexuals shouldn't be allowed to marry; would you tell others to be tolerant of us? I guess you would if it meant it would get you votes. Thanks Hill; remind me to vote for you again. This bitch isn't a birdbrain; she's a spineless chameleon. (By Scott Rose)
