It is a matter of public record that Michael Jackson's current accuser, when 5 years old, was sent by his father to shoplift in a department store. Whether that makes that family more or less likely to try to blackmail a pop star, I don't know. But it does seem intensely ridiculous to 1) act as if, when a 13-year-old boy accepts alchohol, looking at pictures of naked people, and sexual activity he did so completely against his will and 2) ignore the possibility that the accuser and his family might have been acting out an entrapment scheme against Jackson.
