Thomas J. Wallace, editor in chief of Conde Nast Traveler, will succeed Truman as editorial director immediately. Before joining Conde Nast, Wallace held editorial positions at the New York Times, Newsday and the Stamford Advocate. Truman a British native intends to flee America for Europe. Truman started as a features editor at Vogue in 1988 and later became editor in chief of Details.
