Don't you hate when you get caught bragging? Even though I really did catch that really big fish that one time, I'm sure we've all been there. Well, now WCBS/Ch. 2 news anchor Ernie Anastos can join us.

PageSix reports that when Anastos leaked news of a $10 million deal with FOX/Ch. 5, his figures were, well, a little askew. The deal turned out to be for $1.1 million the first year, and maybe more later. So close!

But I still give the point to Anastos. He clearly wins. All a CBS source could come up with in retaliation: "He's not really all that good anyway - he reads a Teleprompter." Oooh. Burn.
