Page Six reports that a pro-Kerry group, Pornforprogress.com, is releasing a new DVD that hopes to put a little lift in his campaign. All proceeds from "The Porn for Kerry DVD" will go toward Kerry campaign efforts in swing (how appropriate) states. Hopefully the disc, which is described as "part political satire and part hardcore hot sex," will inspire others of it's kind. I'm rooting for furnitureporn.com to be next in line.

In a grand effort of showing off their impeccable counting skills, about 800 students at Witwatersrand University in Johannesburg engaged in a massive pillow fight in an attempt to set a world record, says YahooNews. While a valiant effort, other recorded attempts topped in at about 2,4000, which is, I think, more than 800. But I don't work for Guinness World Records, so i could be wrong.

Liz Smith writing in today's New York Post quotes Kevin Klein, who played the role of Cole Porter in the film "De-Lovely," as saying "It's bad for business if you're writing love songs and you're gay." Liz gives Kevin a Bronx cheer, going on to name various very talented gay composers, and in closing notes that a great song has no sexual preference. But given that nearly every critic complained that Kevin Klein had been horribly miscast as Cole Porter, shouldn't we all give the guy a break and let him make as many small-minded, prejudice-laden, idiotic comments as he pleases?
